Camp Nurse

Camp Kon-o-Kwee Spencer needs a nurse for summer 2026!

The Camp Nurse is responsible for helping to ensure the wellness of the campers as they experience the magic of camp by maintaining a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes camper safety and engagement.

We are looking for applicants with the following required qualifications:
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Licensed RN.
• Leadership ability & teamwork oriented.
• Prior experience working with camp or youth populations (preferred).
• A commitment to working with a diverse staff and camper population for the fulfillment of YMCA goals.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods & be able to walk around camp continuously for at least two hours.
• Excellent written & oral communication skills.
• Enjoy working with children.
• First Aid and CPR/AED certified.

POSITION BENEFITS:
• Position pays $1,060 per week.
• Free camp registration for children of employee.
• Flexible schedule & commitment: Employment is available for the whole summer, partial period, or on a week to week basis.
