Program Instructor (Part Time)

YMCA Camp Kon-O-Kwee Spencer’s purpose is to inspire and equip people to find their path, unlock potential, and create leaders of consequence. As a Program Instructor, individuals serve as the spark that ignites curiosity and confidence in others. Program Instructors bring the magic of nature to life by leading discovery-based environmental lessons, challenge groups to step outside their comfort zones by facilitating low and high ropes activities, and help participants uncover new passions through recreation-based activities like archery and fire building. Along the way, they create a fun, welcoming, and safe environment where every participant feels encouraged, supported, and empowered.

Program Instructors serve school and retreat groups during the fall and spring and medical-based partner camps during the summer. No two days are the same. One day may include leading pond ecology, the next facilitating zipline or team building. This role is perfect for those who thrive outdoors in all weather conditions.
