While Fall Festivals may be on hold this year, our Beaver County Hometown Scavenger Hunt has you covered with a fall festival on wheels!

Grab some friends, hop in the car, and begin your hunt on a curated route offering nibbles, noshes, and fun as you explore an eclectic variety of the businesses Beaver County has to offer.

Each Route Includes:

• A taste of nibbles and noshes from an eclectic variety of Beaver County restaurants
• Family-friendly challenges along the way
• Opportunity to explore and discover Beaver County spots you may not know

• A course map with 8-10 unique stops included
• Coupons from participating businesses to use within the month of November

WHAT IS THE BEAVER COUNTY HOMETOWN SCAVENGER HUNT?

This Beaver County driving tour will tap your taste buds, activate your adventurous spirit, and keep you guessing as you visit our participating businesses! (In a socially distanced fashion, of course!)

Your route includes just over an hour of total drive time with no roundtrip covering more than 40 miles.

(This is not a timed hunt - no need to speed!)

WHEN IS THIS SHIN-DIG?

Saturday, October 24th

Three start times to choose from!

10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Plan on at least 2.5 hours to enjoy all the locations.

WHAT DO I RECEIVE FOR THE COST OF MY TICKET?

HOW DO I GET TICKETS?

You'll purchase your tickets online in advance at https://www.beavercountychamber.com/events/details/2020-hometown-scavenger-hunt-fall-edition-693

All ticket purchases are final. No refund will be offered for any reason (that includes a global pandemic).

Should you be unable to make the event, or the event is canceled/postponed, tickets can be held for a future event.

WHERE DO I CHECK-IN?

On the day of the event, check-in at the Borough Building in Downtown Beaver. Then, hop in the car and follow the map. 

WHERE DO I END THE SCAVENGER HUNT?

That?s the cool part - our course takes you in somewhat of a circle, so you END where you BEGAN, at the Borough Building - we can?t wait to hear about your experiences and take your picture as a memory of your trip.

WHERE DO I PARK?

You can find street parking along Third Street or Beaver?s side streets. No meters! There is also a FREE parking garage at the courthouse (810 Third Street). But, you?ll be taking the car on this hunt, so no need to worry about long-term parking. As for parking at each stop? You?ll find street parking, parking lots, etc. The parking scenarios will be different for each location.

SHOULD I BRING ANYTHING?

Just yourself, a carload of fun people, a mask (yep - if a business requires it, you?ll want one on hand), smiles, laughter, and all that jazz. However, there will be prizes for costumes, and, well, who knows. So check your email instructions closer to the event!

DO I NEED TO WEAR A MASK?

You do. Thank you for asking. As our event?s purpose is to support our local businesses, who need us now more than ever, we would kindly ask you to wear a mask as per the request of our businesses. Please also remember to socially distance during the event and sanitize those hands. Hand sanitizer is the scent everyone is wearing these days.

DOES THIS EVENT SELL OUT?

Yeppers! As a courtesy to our participating businesses, we limit the number of tickets sold so they have ample time to prepare for you!

MY CHILD IS COMING - DO THEY NEED A TICKET?

If they?re under 3 (or are just along for the ride and won?t be tasting, engaging in activities, etc.) they?re free!

I'M GLUTEN FREE, VEGETARIAN, VEGAN, KETO, PALEO, {enter particular dietary preference here}. 

WILL I BE MADE AWARE OF INGREDIENTS FOR THE FOOD I SAMPLE?

We cannot guarantee that the nibbles/noshes will gluten-free/vegetarian/vegan, etc. It's very difficult to accommodate individual dietary needs for an event this size, so please use your best judgment when it comes to sampling.
