From remote teaching to canceling graduation ceremonies\, the state of confusion is more likely to continue for the 2020/2021 school year instead of being resolved during the summer months.

\n Not only do school leaders need to plan for disruptions to teaching their students\, they should also start to plan for disruptions to their operations in general for the next few years. Schools are likely to see a reduction in revenue as property owners appeal their property assessments and some property owners simply may not pay their taxes due to economic disruptions caused by COVID-19. The best way to plan for these disruptions is to prepare a financial forecast that anticipates as many variables as possible while understanding there are risks to all decisions.
