SUMMARY:BCAB's 23rd Annual Drive for the Blind Charity Golf Scramble
DESCRIPTION:The Beaver County Association for the Blind will host our 23rd Annual 4-Person "Drive for the Blind" Charity Golf Scramble on Friday\, August 20th at the Black Hawk Golf Course\, 644 Blackhawk Rd\, Beaver Falls\, PA 15010. Registration begins at 8:00 am\, and golfing will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. There will also be a Basket Raffle and 50/50 drawing. All proceeds from the event remain in our local community to help BCAB provide quality services and programs to your family\, friends and neighbors who are blind or visually impaired. Some of the programs for blind and visually impaired include: Lifeskills and support groups\, transportation/sighted guide to appointments and shopping\, as well as assistive technology training. BCAB also offers a low vision clinic\, vision screenings and eye safety education to the community at large. We screened over 3\,400 preschoolers for Amblyopia last year!
